Check out what Karl Konan and Noah Gaudin had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball’s defeat to Montpellier (23-29) in the 2025 Trophée des Champions.
Karl Konan ( Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-back):
« We are disappointed and frustrated. We made a lot of mistakes in all areas of the game, both in attack and defence. We didn’t give up until the very end, but this will serve as a lesson for us. We will all get back to work tomorrow to try to iron out these imperfections. »
Noah Gaudin (Paris Saint-Germain Handball centre-half):
« It wasn’t the match we were hoping for today. We lost possession a lot, and those mistakes cost us dearly. It’s frustrating, because there were also some good moments. It’s difficult to stay positive after losing a final, but with hindsight we’ll use this match to see what didn’t work and remember what we did well. We have to move forward. It’s going to be a long season, and this was just the beginning. »
